 Avos’ka held on to nebos’ka
  But both fell down
                  Don’t be reckless

vos’ and nebos’ are fundamental notions of Russian way of life. I will probably get by without it. Never mind. It will blow away.

When the central heating works well you can’t care less. But what if it breaks down? Or if there’s an emergency?

Imagine that in dreary winter weather your batteries go cold, there is no electricity, the gas is off. You will take an axe and make firewood of your favorite grand piano and antique furniture. But you will still need a place to burn it.

You may also recall the film “Cliffhanger” where Silvester Stallone’s character burns $1000 bills to get warm.

Put a smallish bag with a stove and flue parts in a far corner of your closet. Let it stay there.

It is better that you don’t need it.
