A small wood heater
and cooker in eastern style

Happy is the one who has a hot stove:
Mongolian saying

iberian frosts, Russian gumption and European technology is a good recipe for making a good stove. They are good in every way but too much alike. All cubes or blocks. This dish needs some eastern spice, we thought and started on a real life ethnographic expedition.

For a few months in severe Mongolian steppes, where nights are cold and fuel is in shortage place strict demands on heating, we have listened to nomads’ tales about true “zookhas”. We cooked food over open fire together with local fire tenders. We made scrupulous drawings of delicate arabesques. On our way back we prepared a first draft of an eastern stove “Selenga”.

The charm of unusual shape and oriental patterns. Original cooking surface fit for cauldron use. Handy fire box door and amazing efficiency. We are not sure what exactly makes you like it. But we have no doubts that you will.

  • The original oriental design will appeal to you and make your guests wonder.

  • Removable cooking surface allows cooking over an open fire and in a cauldron

  • Heat resistant steel alloy make the stove lightweight and durable

  • Capacious fire box allows to use maximum wood load for long uninterrupted burning

  • Fine controls of burn rate allows to use fuel efficiently

  • Side convectors screen intense infrared radiation and speed up room heating

  • Ceramic glass surface (“Selenga-1” model) lets light through and serves as a secondary illumination source

  • Sliding ash box helps remove ash quickly and neatly without stopping burning process

  • Cast iron fir box door with a heat-resistant glass window and self-cooling handle make help to easily control burning process
